Don’t Throw it all Away: The Impact of Drug Disposal on Medication Safety

Learning Objectives: At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  1. List two risk factors that may cause patient harm in the topic discussed.
  2. List two potential interventions that may prevent patient harm.
  3. Describe the role of pharmacist in optimizing medication safety.

The University of Maryland School of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
